Toni Freeman and Rickye Mckoy-Mitchell were recognized for their service at the the 30th year anniversary of the Charlotte Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. The chapter presented the "Freeman and McKoy-Mitchell May Week Award" in honor of nearly 3,000 8th grade students for their academic, athletic, and art accomplishments.  May Week is a national program of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority; Inc. and emphasizes scholastic achievement, educational opportunities, and the importance of higher education in the community. 
Debra Plousha-Moore, Executive Vice President and Chief of Staff at Atrium Health, is leaving her post on June 30. She and her husband John will return to her family's home in San Francisco, but plans to commute cross-country to visit family and participate in local initiatives. Moore, who has spent 45 years in education, healthcare and human resources, joined Atrium Health as senior vice president in 2008. She was promoted to executive vice president in 2013 and chief of staff in 2016. We will miss you, Debra!

Beth Fisher is relocating to Greensboro this summer to become Vice Chancellor for Advancement at UNC-Greensboro. In that role, she'll lead UNCG's efforts to raise money from alumni, businesses, foundations and friends of the university. Best of luck, Beth!
