Congratulations to WE member Kimberly A. McMillan on her new position as Vice President of Marketing and Communications of the Charlotte Regional Realtor Association.
At the September WE meeting, Harriette Thompson, the oldest woman to ever run a marathon, graced us with her presence. The Charlotte Observer reports that she passed away on Monday, October 16 at the age of 94. A three-time cancer survivor, Thompson was an inspiration to us all. Congratulations to WE member Sara Lincoln who has been inducted as a Fellow into the American College of Trial Lawyers, one of the greatest honors for trial lawyers practicing in North America. She is only the eighth woman in North Carolina to receive this honor.
Sherré DeMao is one of a handful of women experts/authors invited to bring best practices and learning through Executive Education, Inc. for continuing education credits to CPAs and CFOs across the country. Her two courses, "4 Critical Factors to Create Sustainable Growth" and "3 Market Analysis Priorities to Drive Profitability" debut this month.
Congratulations to WE member, Jill Dinwiddie for her recent recognition as the 2017 Paradigm Award winner for Dress for Success Charlotte. Jill received recognition during the September 26th Ultimate Power Luncheon benefiting the organization.
