Join us as we congratulate WE member, Angela Broome on her recent marriage to Keith Powley Saturday, May 20. Her sons, Grant and Grayson, had the honor of giving away the bride in the intimate backyard wedding. The bride and groom honeymooned in Anguilla.

WE members Tracey Gillespie and Joanne Collins ran into each other in Paris in early June.  Neither knew the other was there.  Both were marking personal milestones.  It is a small WE world!

Sherre' DeMao
completed the Make-A-Wish Trailblaze Challenge and hiked 31 miles on June 3 through Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina to raise money for granting wishes. To-date hikers have raised $500,000 to grant 85 wishes for Central and Western Carolina families. Inspired by the touching stories and difference made by the organization, Sherre' posed a first-time challenge to all hikers to raise 110% of their goals.

After months of training, WE member Sharon Lachow-Blumberg completed her first triathlon. Motivated by a milestone birthday in January, she declared that this was the year to face her fears and step outside her comfort zone. Registering for her first triathlon was scary, but she did it and learned how to swim too!
