WE Member Myra Joines' mother, Dorothy R. Joines, 86, of Winston-Salem, died peacefully Wednesday, March 22 after several years of declining health. Her memorial service was held Saturday, March 25, at the Lutheran Church of the Epiphany in Winston-Salem where she requested memorial donations be made to the endowment fund. You may send Myra a sympathy note to her home address: 2738 Circa Drive, Matthews 28105.

Welcome New Members:

Kathryn Hill has spent more than 30  years in the museum field as a staff member, consultant, and board member.  She has been privileged to serve as a staff member of  the Field Museum of Natural History, the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, the Children's Museum of Atlanta, and History Colorado, and has consulted for dozens of museums across the country.  Kathryn came to the Levine Museum of the New South in the summer of 2016, because civic engagement lies at the very heart of the museum's mission and because she believes that history is essential to building community. She and her husband, David Sett, have two grown sons.  

Joy Kenefick is a Managing Director with TillotsonKenefick of Wells Fargo Advisors.  She specializes in investments and financial planning for high net worth families.  She has been with Wells and predecessor firms for 20 years.  She is a member of the Women's Impact Fund, serves on the board of trustees at Charlotte Latin School and serves on the advisory board for Foundations For The Carolinas. Joy is an avid Yogi, married to Christian Kenefick and has twin 15 year old daughters, Ana and Sara.  

Lisa Yankie is the Vice President of HR at Domtar Pulp & Paper.  Domtar is a leading provider of fiber-based products including communication, specialty and packaging papers, market pulp and absorbent hygiene products. Prior to Domtar, Lisa worked at SPX FLOW, Bank of America and Ford Motor Company.  She has lived in south Charlotte for over eleven years with her husband Chad and two children, Myles and Reese. Lisa is an avid Michigan State Spartans fan and enjoys reading, running and wine tastings!  Lisa is looking forward to the camaraderie with like-minded women at WE!
